Auto car crash accident

Motor vehicle accidents in New York are becoming an everyday occurrence. Suffolk County Police have arrested a man for a crash resulting in injuries to himself, as well as his passenger.  

More details:

Suffolk County police responded to a crash that happened around 8:00 P.M. on Sunrise Highway eastbound, near Waverly Avenue.

How did this motor vehicle crash happen?

The accident happened when a 2011 Chevy Tahoe, towing a car trailer, collided with a 2002 Honda Odyssey. The 39-year-old Odyssey driver has been identified as Michael Smartino. He suffered non-life threatening injuries in the crash and was immediately rushed to the Long Island Community Hospital located in East Patchogue.

What about the passenger in the Tahoe?

He complained about minor neck and back pain. He was also taken to the Long Island Community Hospital in East Patchogue.

What else? This motor vehicle crash closed the Eastbound Sunrise Highway for about one hour and thirty minutes. As for Smartino, he has been arrested and charged with DWI by the police.
