Monday morning, October 8th, 2018 proved to be the last day of a biker’s life. His bike collided with a guardrail, which led to his death.

Who was the victim?

Police have identified the man who died in this accident. According to State Police, the man who died in this accident is 22-year-old Francis X. Claps, III. He hails from Old Greenwich, CT.

How did this accident happen?

According to Police, he was riding a 2012 Yamaha FZ6-R westbound on I-287. He was trying to make the curve for Exit 7. Unfortunately, he failed, and his Yamaha went on to collide with the guardrail.

No other vehicle was involved in the accident, and no more injuries were reported, say the police.

Francis was immediately rushed to Westchester Medical Center where doctors pronounced him dead.
