At least four teenagers suffered injuries because of a motor vehicle accident in Long Island this Wednesday. One of the injured teens had to be airlifted to a nearby hospital.

This accident happened on Wednesday afternoon about 3:40 p.m. at Elmont Road and Dutch Broadway, resulting in injuries to the four teenagers. According to the police, it was a head-on-collision between four vehicles.

The impact and intensity of the collision were so powerful that one of the cars involved in the accident ricocheted towards the sidewalk and struck victims near the corner of the two roads in Elmont.

What about the victims?

According to the police, the list of victims includes three teenage females and one teenage boy. All of them being sophomores who were on their way home after school.

The authorities report that two injured girls were rushed to an area hospital. One of them had to be airlifted in critical condition. The injuries suffered by the other two are said to be non-life-threatening injuries.
